SOUTH BEND – Senior1Care, a home caregiver service headquartered in South Bend, with additional offices in Elkhart, Indianapolis, and Fort Wayne is pleased to welcome its new executive director, Lori Allen, RN. Lori will be operating out of the company’s South Bend office.

In her new role, Lori is charged with leading Senior1Care’s day-to-day operations, including quality assurance. Thanks to her experience, as well as the team she leads, Senior1Care’s caregivers will be expertly trained and our clients well cared for and happy.

Lori joins Senior1Care with nearly 30 years of healthcare experience. She began her nursing career in the NICU at Beacon Hospital in South Bend, caring for high-risk newborns, and for the last decade has devoted her time to improving patient outcomes and guiding patients and their families through their healthcare journeys.

Lori is a natural leader and coach. In a prior role, she helped to develop an eLearning program that promotes a customer-centered culture among hospital staff, coaching them to stay focused on the task at hand while still making valuable human connections with patients and their families.

“From the first time I met company leaders, I knew that Senior1Care was led by a team of compassionate individuals who strive to exceed expectations and surround seniors and loved ones with the support they need to maintain their desired level of independence,” says Lori. “I wanted to be a part of such a team and felt my prior healthcare experience would blend well with Senior1Care’s plans for continued growth and development of their services.”

At Senior1Care, Lori plans to develop strategies that will support the mission of the business, foster a collaborative and energetic culture for our team, and expand our opportunities to provide services across the senior community.

Lori believes the best experiences in healthcare begin with sincere human connection. She loves to influence, energize, and motivate others both at work and in her personal life.

We look forward to Lori’s leadership and the positive impact she will make in the lives of the caregivers and clients she serves.
