(June 4, 2026) — Senior1Care and its affiliated healthcare training organization, Legacy Medical Academy, have announced leadership changes designed to advance both organizations’ commitment to compassionate care, caregiver training, and healthcare workforce development across Indiana.
Effective June 1, Matthew Presley will transition from his role as President and Chief Education Officer at Legacy Medical Academy to President, North Central Region, of Senior1Care. Pamela Morrison, MBA, BSN, RN, CENP, will join Legacy Medical Academy as President.
The transitions reflect Senior1Care’s continued investment in both direct care delivery and the development of future healthcare professionals. Legacy Medical Academy was established to help strengthen the caregiver pipeline across Indiana.

Matthew Presley — President, North Central Region, Senior1Care
As President of Senior1Care’s North Central Region, Presley will oversee operations and leadership across the South Bend/Elkhart area, supporting the organization’s mission of delivering personalized, high-quality home care to seniors and their families.
He brings to the role an extensive background in education-to-workforce pipeline development, including senior roles at Ivy Tech Community College, where he served as Assistant Vice President of Student and Employer Talent Pipeline, Vice Chancellor of Elkhart County, and Executive Director of Ivy+ Career Link for the South Bend/Elkhart Campus. He also spent 15 years in public education as a teacher, department chair, and college and career readiness coordinator.
During Presley’s tenure, Legacy Medical Academy expanded its healthcare training programs into some of the most recognized in Indiana, earning recognition as a Workforce Education Initiative Business Partner by the – more – Indiana Association for Adult and Continuing Education and establishing partnerships with schools and healthcare organizations across the state.

Pamela Morrison, MBA, BSN, RN, CENP — President, Legacy Medical Academy
Morrison comes to Legacy Medical Academy from Beacon Health System, where she led workforce development initiatives including a youth apprenticeship model, high school partnerships reaching more than 120 students, and an education pathway co-designed with Ivy Tech Community College. Her background also includes nursing leadership, clinical experience, and earlier work as a board-certified music therapist.
She holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University South Bend and is certified in Executive Nursing Practice (CENP). She will serve across Legacy Medical Academy’s Carmel, Fort Wayne, and Mishawaka locations.
