CARMEL, Ind. (June 12, 2026) — Senior1Care has named Jane Whinnery, MS MHA, RN, as Regional President, Central Indiana, strengthening the organization’s leadership presence in the market and supporting its continued commitment to compassionate, high-quality care for seniors and families.
Whinnery joins Senior1Care with more than 25 years of executive leadership experience across the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, with a specialty in leading teams in challenging, fast-paced environments. Her background includes extensive work in operations management, organizational development, compliance, risk management, business strategy, consulting, and business development, along with a strong track record of leading high-performing teams and supporting sustainable growth in complex care settings.
Most recently, Whinnery served as Chief Operating Officer of WellBridge Surgical, where she reported directly to ownership and the board of directors and held full operational oversight for a fast-growing ambulatory surgery center. Her responsibilities included strategic development, daily ASC operations, contract management, human resources, legal oversight, payroll, staffing, credentialing, business development, and regulatory oversight for licensure and accreditation.
Her experience also includes independent executive healthcare consulting work with national and global contracts, focused on areas such as contract negotiations, multi-service-line business development, concierge medicine, hospital operations, pre-hospital transportation, call and transfer centers, process improvement, and ambulatory surgery center operations from design and development through daily management.
Prior to that, Whinnery served in executive leadership at Ascension St. Vincent Indiana, including as Vice President of Business Operations, where she led statewide strategy for trauma and pre-hospital emergency medical services, oversaw matrixed teams and contracted staff, and helped grow a Level II Trauma Center into a Level I Trauma Center within three years. Her background at Ascension also included leadership roles as Director of Trauma & Security Services, Trauma Program Performance Improvement Nurse, and Adult Emergency Department Manager, reflecting deep experience in operations, quality improvement, emergency care, and team leadership.
Whinnery holds a Master of Healthcare Management and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana Wesleyan University, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Western Governors University, and an Associate degree in nursing science from Indiana University. She is also a registered nurse in the State of Indiana.
