SMS Consent Communication

Mobile opt-in and information obtained as part of the SMS consent process or phone numbers for the purpose of SMS are not shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or any other purpose. We do not share your SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

By providing your mobile number, you agree to receive Conversational SMS messages from Senior1Care related to your inquiry, service updates, scheduling, billing, and other important communications. Message frequency varies based on communication needs and may range from 50 to 3,000 messages daily across all users. Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier’s pricing plan, including potential international variations.

You may opt in to SMS messaging by checking the opt-in box on our web page, including:  https://www.senior1care.com/contact/ . If you do not wish to receive SMS messages, do not check the box or otherwise provide your consent.

We collect your mobile phone number and any information you provide during the sign-up process. We may also collect data related to your interactions with our messages (e.g., delivery confirmations or response actions). This information is used solely to send you the text messages you have consented to receive and to tailor communications based on your preferences and behaviors.

Examples of SMS Messages

If you have consented to receive text messages from Senior1Care, you may receive Conversational SMS messages.  Examples of SMS messages are below:

  • Internal (Between Employees): “Susie, this is Senior1Care, I see that you have not clocked in, are you having trouble finding Mrs. Smith’s house.”  Reply STOP to Opt-out.
  • Internal (Between Employees): “Hello Joseph, this is Senior1Care, would you be able to cover a shift tonight at 8PM?  Please call me asap if you are available.  Thanks!”  Reply STOP to Opt-out.
  • External (Service Updates): “Hi Sally, it’s Betty at Senior1Care. Just wanted to let you know that your caregiver is running a little late today. Please give the office a call at (574) 239-2273 if you have any questions.” Reply STOP to Opt-out.
  • External (Billing): “Hi Mr. Smith this is Senior1Care, a quick reminder from our billing Office.  We show we have not received payment for this month’s care. Please reach out to the billing group at (574) 239-2273 to make arrangements.” Reply STOP to Opt-out.
  • External (Service Updates):  “Caren, this is Senior1Care, I received your text that you wish to cancel the shift next Tuesday for your Dad.  We have cancelled the shift in our system.  Thanks.”   Reply STOP to Opt-out.

Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary.  You may receive up to 10 Conversational SMS messages per week.

Potential Fees for SMS Messaging

Please note that standard message and data rates apply, depending on your carrier’s plan.  These fees may vary if the message is sent domestically or internationally.

You may opt-in to receive SMS messages from Senior1Care in the following way:

Opt-Out Method

You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP” to any message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly to request removal from our messaging list. Upon receiving your opt-out request, we will promptly discontinue sending you text messages.

Additional Options:  If you do not wish to receive SMS messages, you can choose not to check the SMS consent box on our forms.
