A father and three sons founded Senior1Care after observing the unmet needs of the elderly. The Bossung family, long-time South Bend and Indianapolis, Indiana area residents, value and enjoy serving others and discovering where they can contribute to their community. The Bossungs’ personal experiences, as well as struggles they have witnessed through friends and family, revealed the desperate need for quality senior care services. Listed below is our management team.
Senior1Care Management Team
Carl is a CPA and was a partner with the accounting firm Crowe Horwath, LLP, for over 40 years. He has spent his life mentoring and helping others. He felt it important to impart to his own children the important values he has learned over the years. Thus, his youngest son, Kyle, and he co-founded Senior1Care. Carl’s eldest son, Corey, and his son-in-law, Patrick Broccolo, have joined the family business and have been excited about the opportunity to work and learn alongside their father.
Kyle grew up in South Bend and spent time in Chicago after graduating from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. While living in the “Windy City”, he gained valuable experience working in sales before given the opportunity to work with his father. Kyle finds great satisfaction in helping others and in managing the daily operations of Senior1Care. He also does a great job overseeing Senior1Care’s intricate automated scheduling process.
The oldest son, Corey, also joined the team after moving back from Chicago. While working in the medical field, he gained greater understanding, knowledge, and perspective about obstacles our clients face day to day. Before opening Senior1Care’s locations in Zionsville and Carmel, Corey became a licensed Certified Nurse Aide. Corey enjoys working in the family business and managing the daily operations and scheduling for our Indianapolis area offices.
Patrick graduated from Butler University and has lived in the greater Indianapolis area for many years. He is married to Carl’s daughter, Nicole. After several years working in the marketing field, Patrick became a licensed Certified Nurse Aide. He felt it was important to learn about the needs older adults face and what constitutes a dedicated caregiver. Throughout his career, he has learned the value of professionalism and quality service. Patrick manages new client consultations, customer service, and business development for our Indianapolis locations.
